TRECON is seeking to hire an experienced instrument and electrical designer/technician to provide instrumentation, control system and electrical systems support. Field and design services will support industrial process control and distribution systems in varied industries including, but not limited to, food, pulp & paper, biofuels and petrochem. Prospect must be self-motivated and capable of working in a design capacity as well as field support for initial project survey & scoping, contractor walk thru & oversight, checkout, startup and troubleshooting.

Desired Skills & Experience
- E & I Training, Instrument Calibration and Electrical Experience
- Knowledge of DCS Systems and PLCs
- 10+ years plant or other experience
Proficiency with:
- Medium and Low Voltage Power Distribution Equipment & Motor Control
- Variable Frequency Drives
- Sizing and Specifying Instruments
- Instrument Calibration
- Troubleshooting Instrumentation, Motor Controls, and Control System Hardware
- Panel Design and Build
- Reading and Working with P&IDs
- Developing and Working with Wiring Drawings and Motor Elementary Drawings
- Developing and Working with Loop Sheets
- Technician level working knowledge of industrial control systems including but not limited to Emerson DeltaV, Allen Bradley ControlLogix, Honeywell Experion, etc.
